Study Abroad Program*
This program is designed for students
interested in developing their knowledge of Latin American
culture from the Chilean perspective and improving their
Spanish language skills. The program consists of Spanish Language, Chilean
Culture and History, and Chilean Geography. The participants
will have the opportunity to visit typical
Chilean export companies in Santiago and Viña del Mar, including such
businesses as vineyards, fruit distribution companies and copper manufacturers.
Students may also take other courses at the university. Students also have
the opportunity to participate in cultural and sporting events to further
highlight their international experience and socialize with their Chilean
peers.

house at Isla Negra.

business leaders.
Semester and Year Programs (Taught in Spanish)
For students with advanced Spanish-speaking skills, who want
to expand their knowledge of the language while taking courses,
with Chilean and other international students, Universidad de
Las Américas offers immersion programs.
Program At A Glance
- Classes may be selected from any of UDLA’s Academic
Departments: Business, Communication, Humanities and Engineering.
- Semester or a year in Chile at Universidad de Las Américas.
- Receive an UDLA transcript.
- Spanish Language courses available before and during the
semester or yearlong program.
